Welcome to RV Prime Guide! I’m Jack Thompson, a retired firefighter turned full-time RV traveler and blogger. With a lifetime of service behind me and a deep passion for the open road, I’ve dedicated myself to helping fellow RV enthusiasts make the most of their adventures.

My Journey

Hailing from Bozeman, Montana, I spent 25 years as a firefighter, working hard to keep my community safe. After retirement, I found a new calling—exploring the great outdoors and experiencing the freedom of RV travel. Today, I travel across the country in my trusty RV, affectionately called “Freedom Cruiser,” a 2020 Winnebago Forza that has become both my home and my gateway to adventure.
